Our League will partner with the Climate and Energy Project to provide information to League members and the public on a request to the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) by Evergy to increase their burning of fossil fuels by building two new fossil gas plants in Kansas to generate electricity. Our League has taken the position that we need to reduce, not increase, the burning of fossil fuels. Come to the session to learn about this issue and submit public comment to the KCC.
