Women For Kansas, Lawrence Chapter, invites LWVL-DC to join a new book club at Lawrence Public Library Meeting Room C or on Zoom. Jan. 28 will feature the book Kansas Matters: 21st Century Writers on the Sunflower State , edited by Thomas Fox Averill and Leslie VonHolten. The book is available from KU Press an local bookstores. We encourage participants to read all or some of the essays before we meet, but join us even if you haven’t read the book but are curious about what it says about our state. We will pick our next book at the meeting on Jan. 28. We’ll put the teakettle on so bring your cup if you attend in person. Zoom link will be provided after you RSVP to w4klawrence.douglas@gmail.com
