The deadline to register to vote or to change your voter information is
15 days prior to each election:
July 21st for the Primary Election
October 20th for the General Election on November 4, 2008

Follow this link to view the County Clerk's list of candidates running for the primary election in Douglas County, Kansas. This list includes only the Democratic and Republican candidates. Independent candidates automatically move on to the General Election in November. This page also contains a list of elected positions for 2008 in Douglas County, Kansas.
Maintaining and updating your voting record to make sure
it is up to date is very important. It guarantees that you are voting
for your representatives and that you will receive all critical
information about voting from the Douglas County Clerk's Office.
You can check your voting information on file with the
Douglas County Clerk's Office by going to
www.douglascountyelections.com
The voter search will allow you to see your current declared party and your
current registered address. If your voting information is out of date,
or needs to be changed, you need to submit a new voter registration
card. Voter registration cards can be printed off, completed and turned
in to the Douglas County Clerk's Office.

Once you have printed off and completed your voter registration applications you have three
options to submit your application:
1. Mail or hand deliver your completed registration to the Douglas County Clerk,
1100 Massachusetts, Lawrence, Kansas 66044.
2. Fax your completed application to 785-832-5192.
3. Create a .pdf of your completed application and email it to
kcampbell@douglas-county.com
