Town Hall with Lawrence Police Chief Khatib. LWV L-DC, Equality Kansas and the Lawrence NAACP present a Town Hall with Police Chief Tarik Khatib. The primary focus will be community relations with law enforcement, and how Lawrence can avoid situations such as happened in Ferguson, Missouri. Scott Criqui (Equality Kansas) and Ursula Minor (NAACP) will be moderating. The event is free and open to the public, so bring a friend!
