LWV Topeka-Shawnee Co Tuesday Topics: Education Funding. Dale Dennis, Deputy Commissioner of the KS Dept. of Education will discuss state funding for education. Mr. Dennis is the veteran fiscal director for the department that oversees public education in Kansas for kindergarten through grade 12. His division is charged with distribution and auditing of all state and federal aid to local education agencies for about 40 programs. He has an unrivaled understanding of state funding for education.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Lunch will be available for $8.25 at 11:30 am.
